DRUG OFFENCES (POSSESSION / TRAFFICKING / PRODUCTION)
Criminal charges of drug possession and/or trafficking occur when defendants are accused of illegal possession of marijuana, ecstasy, heroin, cocaine, or methamphetamine. Offences related to “production” of drugs relate to the use of grow operations for producing these illegal substances. Drug possession and production charges warrant experienced defence counsel on behalf of the accused.
David Baker is adept at seeking effective legal avenues for defending those accused of drug offenses. Common defences include challenging police investigation conduct, challenging whether the defendant had knowledge/control over the substances in question, and – in the case of trafficking – challenging that defendants had the intent to distribute.
